Oak Wirebrushed Lugano Beams (BM150LUG)

Our Oak Wirebrushed Lugano Beams highlight the natural elegance of reclaimed White Oak with a softly weathered, architectural finish. Lugano features warm taupe, light brown, and subtle gray undertones. This is a balanced, neutral palette that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Each reclaimed wood beam is first planed for a clean, precise profile, then wirebrushed to gently open the grain. The result is a textured, dimensional finish that showcases the beauty of white oak without overwhelming its character. These beams have a tone that is understated yet rich. They have visual depth through natural variation. Subtle patina, mineral streaks, and historic markings remain visible beneath the finish, grounding the beam in authenticity with a refined, modern presence.

Available in both box and solid construction. The box beams are crafted in any size. Our White Oak Wirebrushed Lugano Beams are a perfect fit for spaces that want a textured, refined surface and luxurious wood tone.

“Whether people are fully conscious of this or not, they actually derive countenance and sustenance from the ‘atmosphere’ of the things they live in or with. They are rooted in them just as a plant is in the soil in which is planted.” -Frank Lloyd Wright

Wirebrushed Beams Detailed Specs

These beams are surface finished using tools that offer different depths of wirebrushed surface textures. This finish opens up the grain of the wood by brushing away softer grain and leaving the harder grain behind. This highlights the natural grain patterns of the wood and makes the harder grain more prominent. With our expertise we can produce looks that range from rustic to refined. Wirebrushed beams are available as either solid beams or constructed box beams. The lighter-weight box beams combine the beauty of the refined surface with the benefit of being cheaper to ship and install. Use box beams as a new architectural design element or to cover existing beams. E&K's Wirebrushed Beams deliver the presence of true vintage timber while offering flexible sizing for any project.
