Mixed Hardwood Hand Hewn Grey Beams feature a cool, weathered grey layered across a historic hardwood blend, producing a beautiful neutral tone with subtle depth. Natural grain lines show through the finish, giving the beams a grounded, architectural presence that works with contemporary, coastal, and industrial design styles.
The hardwood used in these beams was originally milled and hand-shaped in the late 19th to early 20th century, giving each piece 100–150 years of natural aging before it’s transformed into box beams. The original tool markings, adze cuts, axe traces, and hand-tooled texture, remain prominent, showcasing the reclaimed origins of the wood. Our box-beam construction allows the beams to be built in any dimensions while replicating the appearance of solid timber.
