Pine planed beams are hand-planed to achieve a smooth surface. They are then sanded resulting in a cleaner more contemporary look. Planed beams inherently have the least rustic characteristics of the different surfaces available. We can achieve a more rustic or cleaner look desired for individual projects depending on the character of the pieces and by applying consistent coloring.
