Since 2008, E&K Vintage Wood has been sourcing, crafting, and delivering reclaimed wood to designers, architects, and builders across the country from our Los Angeles facility. Founded by Eric Freed, whose passion for historic structures turned into one of the nation’s most trusted reclaimed wood operations, E&K has grown from local markets into a national supplier without losing the hands-on craft that defines every project.

As a vertically integrated company, E&K handles everything in-house, from sourcing and kiln drying to milling, engineered wood production, and finishing. This level of control allows reclaimed wood products to be built for greater consistency, stability, and long-term performance.

We operate one of the finest finishing departments in the industry, offering a wide selection of custom stains and working closely with clients to develop finishes tailored to the specifications of each project.

Historic Reclaimed Wood

We source from historic barns, factories, warehouses, and structures across the United States and abroad, buildings that carried history in their bones long before they came to us. Our Los Angeles facility holds a large on-site inventory of reclaimed beams, flooring, paneling, and lumber, available in species including Oak, Douglas Fir, Walnut, Pine, and more. Beams run from four to forty feet+. What arrives raw leaves finished, to specification, ready to install.

Great White Café selected E&K for all three of its Los Angeles locations. Pacific City in Huntington Beach relied on E&K for more than 40,000 square feet of exterior siding.
